1. Lay it flat
Unroll your mat or slap band on a clean surface (floor, countertop, or even in the bathtub).

2. Mix a gentle solution
In a bowl, combine:

• Warm water

• A tiny drop of mild dish soap (optional — you really only need a little)

The water should be lightly soapy, not bubbly.

3. Wipe it down
Dip a clean towel into the water, wring it out well (it should be damp, not dripping), and wipe the entire surface of your mat or slap band.

4. Rinse wipe
Dampen the towel again with plain water (no soap), wring it out, and wipe the mat or slap band one more time to remove any soap residue.

5. Air dry completely
Place the mat or slap band flat on a floor or table. Avoid direct sunlight if possible, especially for the mat as it can cause the material to shrivel.
